Cherub Medical Supply to assist technologically dependent new families in obtaining the best chance to allow bonding and experience the joy of children, to maintain dignity and normalize interactions with siblings and all family members.

Cherub Medical Supply will work with physicians and third-party payers to provide appropriate medical equipment, training and follow-up support to suit each patient and family's individual needs, while maintaining an eye to cost containment.

Individualized attention, in-depth training, and state-of-the-art equipment are provided to each and every patient admitted for service at Cherub Medical Supply. We work closely with physicians, hospital personnel, discharge planners and home nursing agencies to ease the transition from hospital to home. This may include a visit to the patient's home prior to discharge, if necessary, to assure a smooth move back to familiar surroundings for the family.

…A durable medical and respiratory equipment company specific to children. Our focus is strictly pediatric, so our equipment, training and follow-up are all tailored for babies, children and their families.

Every effort will be made to provide service to pediatric patients within a fifty to one hundred mile radius of the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. This is, of course, dependent on patient acuity and modality. Patients residing outside of our service area will be evaluated prior to intake, to determine if providing services at that distance would risk compromising the patient's wellbeing. In the event that we are unable to provide services for such a patient, we would be more than willing to assist in locating a closer provider, and determining their ability to care for the patient.

Providing healthcare for seriously ill infants and children requires a special understanding of the family process. In addition to caregivers dealing with the illness of a loved-one, they must continue to build a nurturing and healthful environment for their child, as well as continuing to care for the entire family. Bonding with a new infant is especially challenging when already stressed new parents also have a number of medical concerns with which to deal.

Cherub Medical Supply's primary objective is to apply their knowledge of pediatric medical equipment modalities to assist new families in caring for chronically ill children and infants in a cost-effective routine. With the physician's approval, school and travel can also be planned.

Cherub Medical Supply works to allow the physicians a better understanding of what third-party payers require, reimburse, and deny. It is our intent to also provide third-party payers an item-by-item layout of all aspects of equipment supply extenditure, to expedite coverage, and justify reimbursement.
